I would take it in to the bank and show them it got bent in the mail.
They should issue another one at no charge, because a bent card can get stuck in an ATM. One my cards almost did that. It might even cause an alarm to go off at the bank.

You should be all right but if you feel it will not work on swipe machines or ATM's you should notify your bank and find out the procedure for getting a new card that is not damaged.

It may work at the stores because they can manually enter the numbers in the register. But, you will have to try the ATM machine to see if it's readable
