Why do I break out a couple days after I get my upper lip waxed?

It's really annoying! What can I do to prevent this?

it could be from the oils from the wax...

You are probably allergic to the wax or other materials that are used to wax your upper lip. Your skin could be too sensitive to the chemicals and cause the break outs.

You break out because the waxing irritates the skin. Try using some baby powder after waxing...or cut out the waxing.

Don't touch the area after it is waxed. I was doing that on my eyebrows and the stylist said it is because the pores are open after you get them waxed and if you touch the area dirt and oil gets into the pores. Then, when the pores go back to original size, they have that stuff trapped inside.

I even have darkish top lip hair too. I now use the Sally Hansen Bleach for face. It would not make me wreck out yet I do ought to bleach it as quickly as a week. It doesnt take too long - in line with probability 10 minutes. DON"T USE HAIR elimination CREAM! It makes the hair advance lower back swifter and thicker.

Oils from the wax can get absorbed by your skin causing acne, proactiv will get rid of this and prevent it from happening.
