Ferretone
An oil-based food supplement primarily made from soybean oil, cod liver oil and wheat germ oil. Contains essential fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids, plus vitamins A, B6, D3 and E.

During the summer, when our resident test panel go to meet the general public at shows and fairs (to prove that ferrets can be cuddly and affectionate), people often comment on the softness of their fur. We attribute this to a daily lick of Ferretone.

We've found that medication seems to go down more easily if unwell ferrets are given a quick lick of this supplement before dosing. Our theory is that the supplement coats the taste buds and masks the nasty taste of that horrible stuff the vet gave us.

And it's also very useful for distracting your ferrets while you're clipping their claws

Ferretone is great for their coat and supplies all the omega-fatty acids they need as well as vitamin A. They will lick it off anything, toys, your hand, or even themselves - its great for when you have to clip their nails it just takes a drop on their tummies. Good luck.

Ferretone is an oily substance that you can squirt in ferrets' food, put a little on their toys as a treat, or if you are trying to do something like clip their nails you can put a little bit on their belly to keep them occupied. It helps their fur stay soft and it conditions their skin, they eat it, so don't let anyone tell you to rub it on them like lotion like they did us.

ferretone is for their coat, to make it shiny, ferretvite is a treat/vitamin supplement, and ferretlax is a laxitive to help if they groom alot to make sure they don't get hairballs or pieces of stuff stuck in their tummies. their toys you just need to clean about once amonth along with all of their bedding, and cage stuff, and I use 1 part bleach to 30 parts water, then take out all of thier linnens and put in the wash with laundry soap. may I ask what you feed them/it? I hope it isn't cat/kitten food. Please go on to the web and look for all the information you can, run your poor printer out of ink if you have to. But please be wise and don't just dump them out like yesterdays trash, yes they are cute but they are a commitment

Ferretone is a yummy treat! My ferrets LOVED it and I used it as a reward to train them. You can give it to them as a treat, on their foor, a squirt of it on the floor or any way! Get it for them and they will love you for it!
