Petsmart sells birthday party supplies. Obviously there are quite a few people out there that have parties for their pets.

People do it. When my pets' birthdays come around, I give them a special treat and buy them a new toy. They are family too. :0) Besides, it gives you an excuse to have a party, right?

Of course not! It's a great reason to have a fun party! And invite your pet's friends! Well, your friends with pets, with their pets, yeah.

Nope! Just a few days ago my friend baked this enourmous egg cake for her dogs birthday and invited all her doggy friends! It was fun!
If your not up to that kind of thing, just give it extra attention and take a long walk and give it a good treat!

Well, I went to a baby shower for a horse. It was silly fun, but the owner got lots of good presents for the new baby.

It's definately silly. Pets don't care what day they were born on. Age isn't even a concept with them. They're young, mature and old to each other. There aren't any specifics.

My niece does it all the time..even when its not the dog or cat's bday. We all have to wear hats and eat cat.
They are fun and its not silly...it just shows how much you care about your pet...they are part of the family as well

i don't think so. Why are you? I wanted to by giving my dog two treats instead of one. The reason is because she gets a dirty butt when she has over about 3-4 treats a day. But if you love your dog that much, feel free...
