I went out with my ex-girlfriend for close to 6 years and I have not talked to her for 3 years now. We left on bad terms. I came acroos an old picture of her when she was a child that she gave me when we were going out. I want her to have it back, but do I send it by itself in an envelope or do I inclde a short note?

send it with a short note to her mom or dad, saying that you know they would want it back.

Either way, it's your choice. I don't think it would make any difference at this point, but sometimes a women wonders about those kinds of choices. Damn if you do, damn if you don't.
