ok so i went out and bought some skinny jeans, some chucks, a cute top, and a metal belt...ok so is this a cute outfit? and is it the "proper" way to wear skinny jeans?! HELPP!! kthx..

no! not the shoes. u should wear little slip on ones like the ones that show the top of ur foot. or u should wear boots that go to ur knees.
everything but the shoes look cute

First of all. Those ARE'NT skinny jeans. Those are straight leg jeans. There is a huge difference. Skinny jeans are supertight. Tight to the point where you can't breathe. Clearly those are loose and baggy. Hence, not skinny jeans. Besides that, if you do wear skinny jeans you must wear them with heels for that 80's vibe or tucked into cute knee high boots.

I think the top and the belt don't match. They look nice individually but it goes wrong when you put it altogether. That kind of belt goes with solid colours (best in black or red) so you need to figure out which is the eye-catching part of your outfit. The jeans are fine though :)

i personally don't think chucks look good with skinny jeans unless you're a guy.
chucks are basically the only shoes i wear.i just got a pair of levi's untreated skinny jeans (which I love) and put my chucks on with them and was totally not impressed. what i discovered is that skinny jeans go best with pointed-toe flats and skimmers, or a pointed-toe [high-heeled] pump.
but the shirt's cute, and so is the belt.

Wear them with either boots to your knees ( winter) for summer and spring I suggest wearing them with some cute ballet flats

i suggest a shorter shirt and a pair of cowboy boots, flats, or one-color chucks. I like the belt alot, youre workin it girl!
