First off, the "hump" on the riders back is not for protection, but for streamlining the airflow around his helmet and body at high speed. It's probably custom made by the same company that made his leathers.

Don't quote me...I don't think you can buy a suit like that off the rack. It's custom made. It has to be put in the exact position for each rider. The hump is to prevent the riders head from snapping back. You see the same type of gizmo on pro football players LOL
It might just be for aerodynamics. But what do I know, I ride dirt bikes.
Vanson Leathers are a popular leather suit maker. Contact them and send the picture. They'll tell you what it's made of. If you can get it, have a local leather shop match your suite's color and sew it on for you. Or just specify to Vanson and have them make you a new suit.

That's a Vanson Leather Jacket, make with slip in kevlar.

You can buy it on Vanson Leather site. I suggest buying the perforated kind, so you can wear it in the summer also, that's what I have, works real good.

It's going to be diffucult to find a jacket with a speed hump that large. I know most one piece suits have them. My Tecknic one piece has it. You have to look around. Try www.kneedraggers.com, ww.newenough.com and other distributors, try a search on the net.
