I never understood that "rule". Isn't everyday except labor technically after labor day? What day or month does it become after or before labor day. I say wear what you want when you want!

I love a woman who wears white denim skirts or jeans. Wear white any time you want.

You wear whatever you want.
No one should tell you otherwise.
White is fine... go ahead.
Maybe they don't want you to because if you wear all white in the snow, you could get lost or something.

Traditionally, no. Realistically, wear what you want to. White is more of a light, summer color which contrasts with winter with its darker, warmer colors.
