No he is not, this falls under "too little too late" he may end up breaking Aaron's record, but he's done. I don't even know if he'll be a starter in the major leagues next year. Its sad, because i think he let all the Barry Bonds "haters" and the media get to him. But I don't think he can stay healthy for an entire season and I don't know if anybody, including the Giants are going to take a chance on him.

He's still the best player around today. Hopefully he is finally getting back to his old self and will make a run at the record next year. I say he'll get about another 7-10 homers this season and will sign back with the Giants for one more year. As much revenue as they could draw by marketing the "Chase for Hank", I don't see how they wouldn't bring him back, unless he asked for $15 Million or something like that for 1 year.

Am not hating on Barry Bonds, yet his numbers do not lie. From 1986 to 1999 Barry's HR Totals grew to become into 32 a twelve months thats greater or less 12 to fourteen At Bats for a million homerun and he grew to become into on p.c.. to attain the six hundred HR. From 2000 to 2004 His Homerun Totals have been fifty two a twelve months. Thats 8.8 At Bats for a million homerun the final totals are after he grew to become 35. Thats out of the best of you occupation. Am not asserting he in charge yet numbers do not lie some thing ensue throughout the time of those years. Mark M and Sosa weren't angel Mark took the stuff. Sosa additionally took it and extensively utilized a cork bat. look at Sosa then and look at Sosa now he's smaller. Am tried of persons asserting nicely gamers nowdays take greater clever of themselves. They do yet that would not translate into putting up numbers which you're able to had in you best and not later in life. each and every person knows Lance Amrstrong grew to become into juiced to.

Barry Bonds is a cheater, plain and simple. He can get his "swing" back if he stays healthy and off drugs. Reaching Hank Aaron is mute for Bonds. He is a cheater and a disgrace to the game.

Yeah maybe the same thing that happened to Giambi is happening to him...about a year and a half of problems following the absence of steroids until full recovery. Don't get me wrong though, I dont hate barry for the steroids because old-time hitters face college level pitching...I really hate Barry cus he's a arrogant, whiny, race-card pulling, selfish jerk who really doesn't care about his team. Another reason hes doing better (besides the steroid recovery) is because hes not swinging for homeruns ALL the time so he can look better for free agency.
PS: sorry everybody...hes gonna resign with someone and break the record

so when he wasn't doing good, no one talked about how "great" u all say he is huh? Now that he's hitting, here come all the "bonds fans" saying; 'oh did u see what barry did?' or 'have u seen barry, he's getting his swing back', or 'bonds is coming back, he's back to his old self' , no matter what he does he's still going to have a HUGE asterisk next to his name b'cuz there will always be that steroids story right behind him.

He is only 6 away from passing Henry Aaron to set the National League's all time record.

Don't forget... Hank Aaron was in the American League for his last two seasons. He hit 22 HRs in his last TWO seasons for the Brewers.

No disrespect intended to "Hammerin'" Hank. He is still one of baseball's all time greats.

Good for him. It would be nice to see him end his career on a high note after all he's been through. I always have and still believe he is innocent of all the steroid allegations, but his play on the field this year shows that he is done. Hopefully he will hang them up at the right time, unlike Brett Favre.

Obviously, Balco, I mean, Barry feels he will not be tested between now and the end of the regular season and has had a little of the steroids to close out his year.

GO GIANTS, and I do think his accomplishments are great. People treat him like he is the only player to have ever used steroids in sports. MLB would still not be testing for steroid use if it wasn't for Congress. Baseball encouraged the HR even though they knew guys were juicing and now they have to pay for their greediness. Bonds needs to take it to them.
