I'm sending a care package to a guy I'm seeing who just returned to finish his last year of grad school....
It's a fairly new relationship, so anything sexual is out.
What can i send him that will be really appreciated??
I don't want to use the "L" word yet, (you know, love) but I want him to catch the drift that I am definitely falling for him....
He's a really nice guy, so I don't want to be too farward....
I know, complicated, but help me get creative!!!!

You don't mention how much money you want to put into this, so that makes it a little hard to know what to suggest. He'll know you care about him just by the fact that you're sending anything, so don't worry about that. And as for ideas, just send things that any college student would like to receive. Homebaked cookies. Package carefully to avoid breakage. Call to one of the pizza shops near the college that delivers. Arrange to send them payment for a large pizza. Include a little "coupon" telling him to call and order and that it's been pre-paid and "The study break's on me!" A package of Post-it notes and a couple highlighters. (You can never have too many of these.) Some clippings from anything in the hometown paper that might be of interest to him. If he's within driving distance and will make visits home once in awhile, include a little Hot Wheels muscle car with a $25 gas card attached and a note that says, "Zoom home soon!" If he has a DVD player there, you could buy the latest release of a movie you're sure he hasn't seen and send it along with a bunch of classic movie snacks -- Twizzlers, Goobers, Raisinettes, a pkg. of microwave popcorn -- and a little note about how you hope he's not studying too hard and can find time to take a movie break. If you're feeling gutsy say, "Can't wait 'til you're back and we can 'catch a flick' together."

Pack up a gift basket to remind him of the times he has spent with you . Incude a dvd of a movie you saw and enjoyed together. A box of microwave popcorn and include a special jar of popcorn seasoning you know he likes. A hand decorated jar of his favorite homemade cookies. a pair of slipper socks. A funny coffee mug and some instant gourmet coffee for late night study sessions. Gift certificate for a take out meal from a restaurant you both liked. These are just prompts to get you thinking.

Aww...sniff sniff! I miss that!! :) lol

Send something that reminds you of anytime you have spent together. Gift certificate to the favorite restaurant you share?? A book you both read? Favorite cd that has a "song" that reminds you of a specific incident? Of course, include a note indicating why you made that choice. :)

I have been with my husband 9 years now, married 6 1/2, and when he pulls out a certain cd, I still get giggly like a teenager. lol

Have fun!! :)

Find out his favorites. Books, candy or some type of food that ofcourse won't spoil, maybe a picture of you with a caption saying something along the lines of remember me. Stress reliever items because you know he will be stressed, movies-DVDs...and thats all I can think of right now.

Go to the Cookie Factory or someplace like it (I think they are on line) and send him a cookie basket. On the cookies have them write "I miss you"

Anything specific that you know as an indivdual he is into. Like books or magazines about his favorite sports teams or a certain coffee or tea that you know he likes. This will really let him know that you are tuned into him and trust me it will be greatly appreciated.
