its streetbike jacket that has protection all over like normal, but this one has like a hump right below the neck entering the middle back, ive been trying to find this thing but cant, what type of jacket is this?

That's only one of the brands. Taichi makes a great one. so does Alpine Stars, AGV as well as others.

The hump was designed for aerodynamics, not safety. If you watch MotoGP (or just about any other high speed road racing), you'll see lots of racers who use these. The "hump" smooths out the aerodynamic line from the helmet to the rear of the bike.

The manufacturers of street equipment put these out because street riders like to look like the racers.

It's a speed hump. If a rider goes down the hump is designed to heep your head inline with your spine thus decreasing the risk of spinal cord damage.

It is a motorcross jacket or a dirt bike jacket. The extra protection is in case you wreck. Look for it at any dealership that sells dirt bikes. FOX puts them out in several colors or go to cyclegear.com and check out their stuff.
