WELL its not that they turn there back on you, its just life, once you leave school for the big wide world, everyone is pulled away from there friends because your not all going to the same place every day, you all go your own seperate ways, living your own life, working, busy, in a car rather than on a bus, then as you get married, your time is taken up by your partner, he becomes your best friend, everyone has gone through this, me & my best friend anne were like sisters we were NEVER apart, we did everything toghther but as own lives went there own paths, we didnt see one another, it must be at least 20 years since i last saw her, we all have different stages in life we have to go through, sometimes we take our friends with us other times we meet new ones,

If they are true friends, they dont turn their back on you. However its a big world out there and they each have different paths to take to get to the point in which they want to try out the world of adulthood. Some begin working, some go to college etc etc. No,, the days of hanging as tightly as you all did in highschool is over, but that does not mean they are not your friend.

Because after you graduate, people's lives move in different directions. Some stay local and get a job, others go off to college, get married or move away... some just want to start fresh and leave the past behind.

That is the way it works. We have friends in school and share with them time but once we are done with school everyone moves on, gets new friends and start new lives.

I don't think they've turned their back on you, they've just expanded their circle of friends. You meet a lot of new people as life goes on. Of course you're going to like some of them.

SWEETIE, IT'S NOT THAT THEY HAVE TURNED THEIR BACKS ON YOU, THEY HAVE SIMPLY MOVE ON. ARE THEY WORKING OR GOTTEN MARRIED. SOMETIME WHEN YOU REALLY BEGINI TO GROW UP YOU DON'T SEE THINGS THE WAY YOU USE TO. IT'S NOT THAT THE PERSON HAVE CHANGE THEY ARE TRYING TO BUILD A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR THEMSELVES AND THEY ARE BEGINNING TO TAKE LIFE MORE SERIOUS. THEY HAVE NOT TURNED THEIR BACK ON YOU. HAVE YOU TRIED TALKING TO YOUR FRIEND?. CALL YOUR FRIEND AND GO OUT TO LUNCH OR DINNER AND TALK ABOUT IT, YOU WILL SEE EVERYTHING IS OKAY.

because in high school, everyone is young and dumb, and nothing matters you think that friendship is the most important thing, because thats all you really have, after high school, reality hits you, and you realize that things actually do matter, friendship isn't the most important thing anymore.
