How did you put @ in your question. If I were a betting man, I would say you already know how. People, think about these questions before you answer. Some of these questions are just wasting your time. THINK!!! If they used the @ symbol to ask this question about how to use the @ symbol, don't you think they are just messing with you?

You may have a different keyboard, mine when you press shift and 2 it produces "
However my @ key is next to the return(enter) key, failing that you might want to check your keyboard language settings.
Goto Start>control panel>regional and language options>
then click on the language tab and choose details, choose your country from the list.

all depends on what language you have your keyboard set up for. will either be shift + number 2, directly above the right shift button (press shift and this button) -or could even be mapped to another key -such as the top left key if your language is set up differently.
one thing you can to is set the language of your keyboard in settings, control panel, regional and language options, languages, details and check settings - if not right change them

Here is a general rule for inputting characters that you cannot locate on your keyboard. You need to use the "Character Map". To do this :
Click Start - All Programs- Accessories- System Tool - Character Map.
You can find all available characters there. You just need to copy and paste from here.
