Ok. I locked my keys in my trunk as I was packing. The trunk is chock full. The backseat has a small opening in between the seats, but would never fit the luggage out of it. The only releases I know of are with the key in the trunk key hole, or by the remote lapel. I have a '98 Buick Regal, and desparatly need in my trunk. HELP!

Most cars have a trunk release right along side the gas door release... mine is on the left hand side of the bottom of the driver's seat

If your absolutely certain you can't get to the keys through the opening in the back seat(try it by fishing your arm around in there)here's a few options...

Obviously you don't have a second key FOB, because that would work.

Since the trunk release operates on the Class II serial data line, a bi-directional scan tool would open it.

Make sure you don't have a trunk release button in the glove box...I don't believe there is, but check anyway, you might have one!

If nothing listed above helps and you want to avoid the $$$ of a locksmith or a pro, you could also jump the trunk release relay. Behind the RH side of the dash(passenger side) look underneath it and you should see 4 relays mounted to an aluminum beam. It's part of the frame that supports the dash. The trunk release relay is the second one from the right. Unplug it or just get access to the back of the connector. There are 4 wires...2 orange, 1 brown and 1 black with a white stripe. The one that is black/white stripe is the one you want. It's circuit #56 and is terminal #A2 on the connector. Jump 12 volts to it and the trunk will open.

Good luck...post back or email if you need more specifics

What you need to do is open the trunk, take the keys out, then open the trunk so you can get the keys out, then close the trunk making sure not to lock the keys in it, then drive off using the keys to operate the vehicle.

Hey, I've been there before, minus the luggage. Is their a release button in the glove department? Do you have AAA membership? If so, call them, they should be able to help. If not, try calling around for a cheap lock smith! Good luck!

Drill a hole in the middle of the lock then you should be able to open it wit a screwdriver.
