i heard many people said that face powder is bad for your skin, is that true. if it is, then why does so many people put it on even though they look good enough?

Yes, that is true. Makeup contains a number of products that are known to cause cancer.

Natural minerals are fairly safe - some people are allergic to talc- I would avoid that- it's in almost all powders unless they say minerals on it. A person is more likely to have an allergy than ever to get cancer. Makeup like Sheer Cover is safe. But don't let some girls try to scare you. You're more likely to get cancer from what you eat.
On the plus side mineral makeup adds a good sunscreen so all the more reason to wear than not! Many do wear it for the sunscreen properties. An SPF of 15 is the best to go with in a makeup. But go higher if you can afford it.

Make up is not bad at all, otherwise women wouldnt use them at all...just use the one that is made for skin type.

i don't know if it's harmful for you skin, but my mother always told me that make up causes wrinkles to appear at an early age.

it totally depends on what brand of makeup you buy. if you buy cheap stuff from the drugstore than yes, it is bad for your skin. if you buy good department store makeup than you wont have any problems.

the only cosmetics i know of that are safe are the bare minerals or arbonne.
