depending on where you live, you can either bury him somewhere that's personally significant or take him to the vet to be creamated. Some states/cities don't allow the former (which is more personal) and you might get fined if you don't check.

If you can bury him somewhere, may I suggest under a flowering baby tree? That way you have something beautiful through which to remember your friend. I'm sorry for your loss.

Now this is more like it, ours just passed on. We made a small wooden box, put her favorite to in with her put her blanket over her closed the box, and had a family funeral. she has a small cross marking her grave. Sorry you lost your friend.

Check with your vet to see if they have a deal with a local funeral home and have your puppy cremated and have them give the ashes to you. Sorry about your puppy.

If you are going to bury your own puppy (sorry to hear that)... Be sure to bury it rather deep... Otherwise local animals (or wild animals!) will dig it back up.. (I know, sounds nasty, but it will happen). Soooo yeah...
