I believe every state is the same i know in my state you must take and pass everything except the driving part of the test to get a learners permit

All that is required to obtain a learners permit is a written or computer test. you CAN pass this if you study for it as if it were a school test. Be bold, be courageous - JUST DO IT!

if you go to a driving school they give you your permit the first day. THe only problem is that can cost anywhere from $250 to $500.
