I really love astrology, but seem to be finding mixed reviews concerning this pairing. I've dated Zodiac incompatible people before with a bad turnout. Never dated a Leo though and so I am curious to know what the stars say. My father is a Leo, so I pretty well know how to 'handle' them but still...Yay or Nay for Leo+Pisces?

Pisces with Leo

The two of you have the rare gift of creating the magical world of fairytales together. Both of you are romantics and both recognise the importance of the inner world of the imagination. Creatively, you could provide enormous inspiration to each other.

Leo's fiery, heroic approach to life is an excellent balance to Pisces' gentle, watery vulnerability. Leo's strength and pride are a fine foil for Pisces' subtlety and self-effacement. Both of you are likely to draw a lot of tenderness and protectiveness from each other.

There is one area where you may need to be careful. Leo can be possessive, while Pisces can display so much empathy for so many people that Leo feels unappreciated and jealous. Leo needs to feel special and unique, while Pisces resonates to the common humanity in everyone.

Pisces needs to recognise how vulnerable Leo is beneath the shining, confident exterior, and Leo needs to recognise how strong and loyal Pisces can be beneath the diffident, vague exterior.

If you are able to see past your differences to how similar you both are in many ways, your romantic souls can bask in the mythic world which both of you so much love to inhabit.

You are a Pisces

It's impossible to understand your real motivations, because like the tides of the ocean, they change all the time. Pisces is concerned with a realm that has no boundaries. Nothing less than the source of life itself is the secret you seek. No wonder, if you fail, that your disillusionment and world-weariness can be as great as your aspirations. It's sometimes said this last sign of the zodiac contains a little bit of all the others. And no one is as much of a chameleon as you.

You have a fluidity and complexity which can be alternatively enchanting and infuriating. There are so many people inside you that others wonder when the real Pisces will stand up and be seen. Sometimes you show a strange passivity or inertia when a crisis looms. But making decisions requires choosing one thing over another, and to you all choices contain some truth. Seeing the relativity of truth is a great gift, because it makes you tolerant and forgiving - and, occasionally, incredibly lax.

That calm, wise indifference with which you greet human transgressions not only applies to your own transgressions. You can sit quietly while your lover leaves, your children insult you, your employer heaps abuse on your head, and your landlord throws you out of your house. Pisceans seem to accept misfortune as though they were born to it, expect it, even welcome it. But you know something other signs don't: all that human suffering means little when your eyes and heart are focused on a greater unity.

Pisces is the sign of the mystic. Admittedly, there are Pisceans roaming about who are almost a caricature of the rational, scientific mind. These are the Fishes who are frightened of the chaos of their own depths. But probe more deeply, and unless the defences are incredibly rigid, there is a deep spiritual longing in every Pisces. Including you. That doesn't mean religious in an orthodox way. But you have an intuitive sense of some other reality, something magical and elusive, a transcendent unity which makes ordinary life seem drab and meaningless.

You also have a deep instinctive wisdom about the futility of so many human desires. Intense ambition, powerful passions, covetousness, greed...these ordinary human motives don't usually have much power over you. Deep down, you don't really take them all that seriously. After all, as they say in the East, it's only maya - only illusion. As a water sign, you're deeply sensitive to the secret undercurrents that lie behind the mask of ordinary human behaviour.

It's hard to fool a Pisces. But where others might respond by defending themselves and accruing resentment, you will look, see, feel saddened, and forgive. You often let yourself be taken advantage of, not because you're gullible, but because you feel sorry for all sorts of people. This material world isn't the real one to you; you listen to a different drumbeat.

You move in a world where every thought and action has thousands of associations which ripple out into infinity, and nothing is ever simple and clear. It's hard for you to discriminate, to limit yourself. This can incline you to excess, which can lead to some big problems with things like food, alcohol, drugs or financial extravagance. The compensation for this disturbing lack of boundaries is your boundless imagination. Even heavily defended, hyper-rational Pisceans have this wonderful imaginative faculty hidden away.

The world of the arts, and of intuitive science (including computer science, higher mathematics and physics) is heavily populated by gifted Pisceans. You have a built-in key to the vast and mysterious realm of the unconscious psyche, and it was given to you at birth as a gift. The trouble is, once in those waters, you sometimes find it hard to come back. Coping with mundane reality can be a real problem for Pisceans. Although your intuition may be lightning-quick and your intellect brilliant, you often overlook something simple, like the electricity bill.

You're also an incurable romantic. Some Pisceans have lots of defences to hide this tendency, but romantic you were born and romantic you will remain. And romance isn't just about love affairs. You crave magic, and you get bored more easily than any other sign. The only truly consistent things about you are your allegiance to a higher, deeper reality and your love and longing for change. Never mind the safe job, the conventional social status, the budget which ensures your pension will see you through old age. You'll take hyacinths for the soul any time.
The Leo partner

For Leo, love makes the world go round. Like every other experience in life, love is mythic to Leo, something which must be dramatised to the utmost. Comfortable fondness and affection isn't Leo's style. Leos love to be in love and to play the lover. If you're the recipient, it's probably not like anything you've experienced before.

The Leo partner in love is romantic and magnanimous. One way to show love is to lavish gifts on the loved one. And those gifts aren't just ordinary boxes of dreary chocolates. They're likely to be expensive, exotic and hard to obtain, and usually they're meant to be worn so others can admire them. For heaven's sake, show your appreciation, and show it loudly. A Leo who has gone to a great deal of trouble with a gift can feel crushed and humiliated if the gift isn't received with suitable enthusiasm. Leo is a better giver than a receiver.

For Leo, love is a creative act. Sometimes you can get the odd feeling, in the midst of all that romance, that Leo is so in love with being in love, and so enchanted by a mythic image of love, that somehow you haven't been noticed. It's a common problem in Leo's relationships. You feel sort of left out, if you haven't got the knack of stepping in and out of fairy tales yourself.

But whatever the difficulties, Leo is really the ideal lover. The gift of making a love affair magical and special is one of the Lion's nicest qualities. The Leo partner can make you feel as though no one in the world has ever been in love before. He loves with style and without inhibitions. And it's in Leo's nature to be loyal, too. Although the Lion can be vain and loves to be admired, Leos are essentially constant partners with an idealistic vision of love as something that endures. If they're truly in love, they'll move the earth for you. Naturally they want something in exchange for all that passion.

The Lion is a jealous cat, and won't tolerate lesser creatures pursuing his chosen mate. Leos don't mind a bit of competition. If you're special enough to attract lots of admirers, well, that's a reflection on Leo's good taste. What they can't endure is betrayal, which is deeply wounding and rarely forgiven. Leo has a naive and idealistic heart, and betrayal of trust is, well, dishonourable. That means, by the way, not just sexual betrayal, but betrayal of his ideals, his dignity and his sense of self.

The Leo partner doesn't expect only loyalty and fidelity. He also wants to be treated like a king. Now, that's a sword which cuts two ways. Leo can be so loveable that you want to treat him like royalty anyway. On the other hand, that imperious assumption of specialness can get a bit tiresome, because sometimes it goes with a double standard. It's sometimes difficult for Leo to remember that other people are special too. He's apt to forget it.

In exchange for all that love, loyalty and adoration, Leo offers a wonderfully protective quality. Leo has a generous heart and will fight heroically for those he loves. He can be untiringly supportive and terribly caring, and he's not averse to making some pretty big sacrifices on behalf of his loved ones (it's the little everyday sacrifices that are sometimes harder). He can give up everything and never begrudge it.

Life with a Leo partner is always exciting and alive, but rarely smooth. He's too touchy and temperamental, and his visions and ideals are too big to avoid inevitable conflicts in the smaller realms of living. Leos don't get along with the inconsistencies and limitations of human nature. What they want is the total love, the mythic love, the love that was eulogised in troubadours' songs six centuries ago.

On one level, that kind of love doesn't exist, and Leo usually suffers disappointment somewhere along the line because of this. Yet that mythic love is a reality on another level, and no sign is as capable as Leo of bringing the world of myth into ordinary life and gently reminding you that you're also a heroine or a princess. When you spend time with someone who tries to be a walking myth all the time, you start noticing that myths are all around you, and a relationship with a Leo can convince you that fairy tales can come true after all.

The Leo man

Leo men are larger than life. Even humbler Lions manage this. The Leo man often radiates charisma, and whether you like him or not, you can't ignore him. There are quieter Leo men around who don't make a great roar about their specialness. But when you get to know such a man, you'll find that inwardly he's just the same, with the same need for self- mythologising deep within him. Don't be fooled by quiet, shy Leos. They're Lions nonetheless. And that quality of intense self-consciousness, of always feeling as though some special destiny awaits them, permeates even the most introverted Leo's soul.

The Leo man is often attracted to an earthier partner. This can be a wonderfully creative combination, and it can also be a disaster. When it works, the Leo man looks for a stabilising influence in his partner, and can achieve a better contact with mundane reality through the relationship. When it's a disaster, the trouble usually comes from Leo's tendency to undervalue detail and the things of ordinary life. When he takes this stance, he's liable to treat his partner as unpaid secretary and domestic help. In that case he usually winds up with a very angry and resentful partner, or, equally commonly, no partner at all.

Leo the romantic can sweep you off your feet. His attitude toward love is neither timorous nor restrained, and those grand gestures - whether they're gifts, magical journeys, or dramatic declarations of emotion through poetry or song - are irresistible. A Leo man can make his partner feel totally loved and desired.

Often the Leo man has a large and persistent crowd of admirers. Even if he's not conventionally handsome or successful, there's something fascinating about him. The trouble usually starts once the romance begins to be tempered by everyday reality. The Leo man doesn't warm to the idea of his partner having a life where he isn't right at the centre. Many Leo men become deeply resentful when their partner shows too much interest in a career or an independent array of hobbies, interests, ideas or friends.

Leo needs to feel that he's the Sun around which your Moon orbits. If you suddenly take off and start shining with a light of your own, he's liable to get a little sullen. At worst he may try to stifle you because his own self-importance is threatened. It's hard (although not impossible) for the Leo man to not only acknowledge his partner's need for independent creative expression, but also his own need for an individualistic partner. He can only really do this if he's standing firmly on a ground of solid self-esteem.

The Lion doesn't change his habits or viewpoints easily, and certainly not because someone else has told him to do so. If you try to reform a Leo man, you're wasting your time. He can be stubborn, and his pride won't allow him to acknowledge the wisdom of your advice. His business is to give advice, not to receive it. On the other hand, faith in him and his dreams, confidence in his talents and acceptance of his sometimes childlike need for constant reassurance and attention, can work wonders.

A Leo who knows he's believed in can work miracles. If you're an independent, self- contained type, the Leo man can be a problematic partner. He requires lots of time, love, attention and devotion. Who ever heard of a hero who hides in the background while his partner fights the battles? If you need badly to be recognised as a special individual in your own right, a little fur may fly if you make a home with the King of the Beasts. On the other hand, if you're the self-effacing martyr type, Leo isn't for you, because he likes you to be as royal as he is. He needs to take pride in his partner as well as in himself.

Nothing can match Leo when it comes to sheer life and vitality. If you want a partner you can respect, admire and take pride in, then Leo's the man for you. He's not just anybody, after all, and he's a living contradiction to the old saying that all cats are grey at night. He's himself, unique and unrepeatable.

Leo And Pisces Relationship

2016-10-17 03:59:08 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

When Leo and Pisces join together in a love match, each partner enjoys the new perspective the other brings to life in general. Leo is a strong and assertive Sign, being free to do what they want and taking command of their surroundings. Pisces is quieter and more reserved and introspective. In many ways the two are polar opposites, yet both are dreamers at heart. When they care for one another, they each fill the other's voids and have a caring, mutually beneficial relationship. Leo is a natural leader and in a relationship with Pisces often becomes the guardian of their weaker partner. Pisces, in turn, gives Leo the audience they need for their ambitions and social performances. Pisces is a Sign that, like Water, fills whatever container it is poured into. Pisces tends to give themselves over to their love match; a kind heart allows The Fish to know Leo in a way that many other Signs don't. Leo's straight forwardness coupled with that doesn't pass into conceit--the way Leo alone might act--and isn't overly shy, like Pisces alone may be. Leo is ruled by The Sun and Pisces is ruled by the Planet Jupiter. Pisces is also ruled by Neptune. The Sun gives out light, life and a focus on the Self to the Leo-Pisces relationship. Neptune is about big pictures, ideas and illusions; but it's also involved with disillusion and fantasy. Leo can help Pisces turn fantasies into realities. Neptune works through Pisces by softening Leo's sometimes self-centered and abrupt actions, channeling their energy into a more creative and fruitful outlet. Leo is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign. These two can be very happy and progressive if they recognize the other's needs, using introspection and creative ambition to tend to matters of the heart. Pisces can help Leo learn to be humble and to think of the needs of others, while Leo teaches Pisces to go out into the world and begin to loosen up a bit. But Pisces can be too emotional, too much Water dampening Leo's enthusiasm. Conversely, too much Fire can boil the Water and leave Pisces emotionally burned. Leo and Pisces must establish effective communication in order to ensure their balance is maintained. Leo is a Fixed Sign and Pisces is a Mutable Sign. Pisces doesn't serve well as the boss. They get their greatest satisfaction from bettering the universe, starting with their partner. Leo, on the other hand, comes up with ideas in the first place and suggests little changes to be made here and there in the relationship. What's the best aspect of the Leo-Pisces relationship? It's their receptiveness to one another's teachings. Pisces shows Leo how to be sensitive and care, and Leo teaches Pisces to make their dreams happen rather than sitting on them. Their ability to provide what the other needs makes theirs a truly mutual relationship.

Love & Blessings

yes!

When Leo and Pisces come together, each partner will enjoy the new dimension which the other brings to life in general. Leo is a strong and outgoing Sign, doing what they want and taking command of the surrounding world. Pisces is quieter and more introspective. In many ways the two are contrasts, yet both are dreamers at heart. When they care for one another, they are each able to fulfill the other's needs and have a loving, mutually beneficial relationship.
Leo is a leader and in a relationship with Pisces often becomes the protector of their more gentle partner. Pisces, in turn, gives Leo the audience they require for their ambitions and social performances. Pisces is a Sign that, like Water, fills whatever container it is poured into. They tend to give themselves over to a partner; an empathetic nature enables The Fish to understand Leo in a way that many other Signs don't. Leo's direct approach combines with Pisces' gentle understanding of other people to form a confidence and assertiveness that doesn't pass into selfishness -- the way Leo alone might act -- and isn't overly timid, like Pisces alone may be.

Leo is ruled by The Sun and Pisces is ruled by the Planet Jupiter. Pisces is also ruled by Neptune. The Sun emanates life and a focus on the Self to the Leo-Pisces relationship. Neptune is about big pictures, ideas, and illusions; but it's also involved with disillusion and fantasy. Leo can help Pisces bring fantasies into reality. Neptune works through Pisces by putting a softer face on Leo's sometimes self-centered and brash actions, channeling their energy into a more creative and fruitful outlet.

Leo is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign. These two can get a lot done if they work together, using introspection and creative ambition to get things done. Pisces can help Leo learn to be humble and to think of the needs of others, while Leo teaches Pisces to go out into the world and begin to take risks and action. But Pisces can be too emotional, too much Water dampening Leo's enthusiasm. Conversely, too much Fire can boil the Water and leave Pisces emotionally scalded. Leo and Pisces must create open lines of communication in order to ensure their balance is maintained.

Leo is a Fixed Sign and Pisces is a Mutable Sign. Pisces doesn't need to be the boss; when they are given a task and a way to help out, they enjoy working as hard as they can to do their part. They get their greatest satisfaction from bettering the universe. Leo, on the other hand, is the one who comes up with ideas in the first place and assigns roles to the other participants. Both enjoy working for the underdog and their lack of conflict over roles helps Leo and Pisces work on the same projects with great results.

The best aspect of the Leo-Pisces relationship is that they have much to gain from each other and they are both receptive to one another's teachings. Pisces shows Leo how to empathize and care, and Leo teaches Pisces how to make their dreams happen rather than just thinking about them! Their ability to each provide what the other needs makes theirs a truly reciprocal relationship.

A Leo/Pisces match is a sweet and spicy combination. Leo the lion has the leadership skills that a gentle Pisces needs. Pisces, a mild water sign, has the dreamy qualities that Leo loves. Leos are strong and assertive and like to be the center of attention. Pisces are adaptable and often dislike taking center stage. Together it’s a happy balance. Pisces can mellow Leo’s over-the-top attitude and Leo will bring excitement and surprise to Pisces usually well thought out plans. Together, they are the perfect blend of sugar and spice.

heh i got this off of a website, and mine was pretty true so here ya go
You tend to put yourself first, Leo, while Pisces rarely give themselves center stage. This fish is compassionate and gentle, and may be baffled by your self-confident and larger-than-life ways. Pisces lives under the seas of their imagination, and through undercurrents of feelings and sensitivity. You aren't comfortable showing your vulnerability, preferring to roar with pride instead. Pisces has enough humility for both of you. It won't be easy, but if you can wade out into your fish's water, and your Pisces can venture onto dry land, it might just work.

I'm a Pisces girl and I tried twice with Leo men.
You feel like a queen in the beginning, they treat you like that and its sweet and passionate.
But shortly after you realize what a big ego they got! Our sweet piscy nature can't tolerate with a man that thinks he is on the top of the world... They need constant attention and compliments and not only from you, wherever they can find it they take it... And if they don't, they just brag about themselves!
They pissed me off all the time and in the end I dumped them-and they don't take it lightly!
If it was just one of them, I wouldn't have such a strong opinion on the matter, but both of them where like that exactly!
Live it, enjoy it, but don't be sad if it ends!

No the Leo that I'm in love with conned me and hurt me very badly. Don't be fooled by the way they behave in the beginning.

From the information that I have available, no. Leo's have too much pride and could prove to be a 'royal' pain.
