Yah I am working. just like I work on Christmas & Thanksgiving. God forbid people get to spend time with their family. I am just happy I have a good paying job because I guess it could be worse. I still have 4 weeks vacation a year.

Working. A bunch of us were going to get to together on Sunday and have a barbeque, but I was called into work. We are going to get together next weekend. I think most holidays are created for the government workers to be off and the retailers to make more money. I know more people working on Labor Day than have off.

Sunday we are having a cookout with the neighbors and some friends. Monday I am going to a get together with some other friends. Just relaxing and having fun. It would be nice if everyone had the day off, or at least got off work early. Sorry to all those who arent catching a break.

So far I'm YAHOOOING on YA!
The price of gas, the probability of getting caught in traffic, the idiots on the roads, made holidays so ho-hum and lousy.
So, I ask questions like...What do you think of 80 year old parents keeping their 50 year old kids at home?
I never had this pleasure. My parents divorced, and I was on my own all my life.
But some are born with the proverbial silver spoon and get catered to by parents who themselves need care and support.
We've gotten into a reverse situation.

it's ironic that labor day is celebrated by not working. doesn't seem like the proper sacrifice to whatever god rules over this time.

i have already approved the one day holiday plus eight hours work now i am working for a 6 hour work for all for five days too.

Going to meet my aunt's soon to be 7th husband! Luckily, he lives on the lake and we'll get to ride on his pontoon boat and have a cook out.
