I blame the Romans and the Egyptians and Greeks all forming societies based on wealth not giving everybody what they want and end up without - unbelievable!

Your question is really good. I think we should go back to trading for goods and food...People would be happier because they'd be able to fend for themselves instead of depending on a job they hate for a paycheck that's too small.

Most people with average jobs waste a lot of their money, mostly on bad planning and impulse spending.
Yet, they blame the political system.
Har, har.
Take a course in personal finance.
If your income is low, go to the Communitiy College and study for a better career.
Unless you are a white male which means you are going to face discrimination for jobs which require more education, in which case take a vocational course in construction or carpentry or mechanics, women seldom take those jobs.

when man was created to feel satisfaction, limits to it was not one that he is born with. with insatiability, your present state of finances just does not seem enough, but try separating needs from wants and you will probably know that for so long as your finances allows you to fulfill your needs, then you must be making enough, but then again, it is the conscious determination that what you are doing away with is not deprivation but not a necessity. going back to the barter system would be beyond comprehension but it is always the nature of man to prevail over the other in terms of achievement, accomplishment, finances that kicks the competitive nature in. try it!
