There is a Bowling Green, Florida. It is a small town located in Hardee County, about an hour or so southeast of Tampa. Paynes Creek State Park is there. It is worth checking out if you're in the area.

Bowling Green could be located in Ohio, or Midwestern Kentucky. Neither are really that exciting.
In KY, bowling green is a college town, and is not far from Mammoth cave national park, which has some really neat cave tours.
I am not sure what is going on in bowlinggreen oh.

Yes, both states. I am in Bowling Green OH as I type, visiting my son. He is a professor at the University there. It has a population around 29,000 and adds around 20,000 students in the school year.
It is not a real exciting place.
