i want a guitar but not and electric one and i just want to know where to get one and what i should be looking for

Well you sound like a beginner, so don't pay too much. I would go to a music store such as Schmidt or Trestman. Talk to someone there and tell them you're a beginner. They'll help you get what you need, because there's an insane amount of acoustic guitars. The range in price is too wide. It depends on what kind would suit you best.

I have had a no frills Ovation big body acoustic for 20 years and still play it all the time. Have somebody in the guitar store play the guitar for you if you do not yet know how to play. You can get a feel for what the guitar sounds like. I was going to get a Fender until I had someone play the Ovation and then the Fender and compared the sound. I would also consider the Yamaha line of classical style guitars if that is your style of music. They sound really good. Expect to pay around 350 American for decent quality. Gibson, Takemine and Taylor are all good brands as well but can be pricey.

the price is around 2000rs. to 2500 rs. for the normal acoustic one's because to all of them it cost around the same. and my college has a few electric guitars and they cost around Rs. 8000 - 10000
