First of all, start praying, maybe God hid it from you because you are naughty.
Try look into the gym locker or your desk drawer in the office.
If you still can't find it, why not buy the same identical pair and try to forget that you lost the original pair you had, you'll earn more points on your charge card.

Your drier has sacrificed them to its deity. The drier god especially likes sacrifices of lucky or expensive socks.
