For your information the south was like its own country and was indepedant but then the stupid north had to go all Free Mason and have a new world order and want to rule the whole country. And the civil war was 1861-1865, not 1902.

I wouldn't want slavery reinstated. I would never say that. I was generally speaking and asking do you think the south will ever be a independant part of the country again.

I was raised in Oregon, but I moved to Mississippi when I was 18 and married my ex-husband who was from there. I'm now re-married and my husband is from Tennessee, a place I absolutely love, and we plan to settle there when he gets out the Military in few years, so I do like the South and look forward to raising our children there. However, I have come across a few Southerns like yourself that really take this whole "The South is going to rise again" thing too far. You still seem angry over a war that happened long before any of us were ever born, and frankly, it makes no sense when you say you're going to rise again. Rise and do what? Get your butt's kicked in another civil war? Rise and try to get slavery reinstated? Seriously, tell us what the South is going to rise and do. I did ask my husband this question before, and he said he has no clue what people mean when they make that statement, so if some Southerns don't understand it, it's no wonder the rest of us don't!
