For those of us who have seen "Crank"?

At the end of the movie, after Chev(Jason Statham) falls from the helicopter and smashes into the car, then bounces off and lands on the street, was he dead? because I could have sworn that he blinked and then the sound effect of a heartbeat could be heard. Is he still alive somehow?

The answer is obvious, If the movie becomes a success and the producers get a good script and statham continues, chev stay alive somehow, if not, that's it bye bye chevie....
