I have been a pagan for about 6 or 7 years and I am into Germanic dieties. I also have actual memory, only lasting a second or two each, of abductions by grey 'aliens'. I have read something by a ceremonial magician who claims such beings are actually the Fair Folk (faeries), and not physical outer space beings. Anyone here able or willing to speculate on grey 'aliens'? From any perspective.

Have heard about black elves called the Unsellie(?spelling)that do not like human folk. But neither do some of the other mythological creatures except as lunch.
There have been sightings of wee people from all around the world.
The Children of Danu did not flee the isle of Erie as the other races did but went into the Earth instead maybe giving rise to the sightings of faeries and such.
The coloring may be what you see or since this seems to be a past memory you may have a ways to go before you can make the images last longer and start adding more color to them. The more you practice the better and faster you may be able to clarify the images.
I wouldn't completely rule out space aliens from another planet in the livable ring that seems to reach all around the universe. just like the ring space around our sun were life could have developed. We just don't know enough yet.
If you are seeing Germanic deities. they might be gray looking as they might be more solid ghosts than the ordinary ones of humans,I forget how far the tale of Ragnarok ( the twilight of the gods extends north and south from the Norse to the Germanic nations. If it has already happened then they could be more likely the ghosts of the past trying to get in touch with someone who believes in them yet.
blessed be

Could be any number of explanations. From the Germanic point of view, don't forget dokalfar (dark elves), also called Unseleighe elves who didn't have much good to do with the human race. Not all Fair Folk had good reputations. Even elves had stories where they would abduct human children and leave changelings in their place. Bean Sidhe were also similar creatures, credited with causing "elf-stroke" which is referred to nowadays as just a stroke.

But then again, it is an immense universe out there. And there are more planets in other solar systems that we are able to detect now than even optimists had thought 20 years ago. So who can say whether it is actually extraterrestrials or fey creatures.

Sorry but no actual answer in this answer.

And as to why he didn't want Christians to answer, what was the first thing most of you said? "You're going to burn in hell" Who wants to hear that?

first of all, we(people) are not alone here on earth, there are lots of astral and spiritual creatures. The aliens may exist as physical beings because the Universe is really big and it would be a waste of space if the earth would the only planet that has intelligent life forms. So they could be memories from the astral plan or memories from an actual abduction.
p.s. why do you stereotype all the christians?

Actually I have read just the opposite that the claims of the "Fair Folk" as well as other such entities were actually alien in nature using a telepathic like ability to change how they were perceived...

As it stands, it's all speculation.
I do believe in alien life, I also believe in elemental forces which are sometime mistaken or manifest as "fairies".

I don't understand why it is so hard to fathom that life exists outside of our normal parameters. It's very selfish to assume that humans are the only beings in the universe, not to mention leads to lonely concepts of godlike complexes.

Grays and fairies could very well exist and they could be mistaken for one another, it would surely answer a few questions. aliens with tech devices so far supieror to our own that the consequences of these technological wonders seem like magic to people who can not understand anything different. It's not really a far cry of difference. Perhaps they are one and the same, but no one will know for certain until one or the other reveals themselves to us in a way we can understand.

To be honest it could be anything. I myself am very into the occult. I don't really see the connection to faeries, but there are so many old energies and powers out there that there's really no knowing what it could be. I've often heard things like that connected to the older Sumerian gods also.
Of course, I could be wrong and aliens could be shoving stuff up our butts.

IMO, beings such as fairies, unicorns, elves, dragons, etc. and aliens can be and probably are one and the same, some come from other planes of existence and some come from other planets of existence that exist on the same plane of existence as our own planet. In other words, there are fair folk/aliens on other planets and on other planes.

UFO's, Aliens, and dolphins have nothing to do with Paganism. That is the influence of the "New-Agers".

If you are serious about Paganism, why do say things like "I am into" when you are referring to specific deities? I am "into" bass fishing and homestarrunner ( www.homestarrunner.com ) but I honor and worship my gods.

I'm not questioning your devotion mind you. Wording things in this fashion helps promote the idea that Paganism isn't serious or even "real religions".
