I usually just open the CD in Windows Explorer, copy and paste to my mp3 library folder.

You should not need to rip a cd that already contains Mp3 files.
You could place the in mp3s in the my music folder and browse to that folder to play them in Windows media player.
But if you need to rip a CD to Windows media player
Microsoft has detailed instruction for WMP10

1.You put in the cd
2.You click rip and it will save to your Pc
