The Bermuda Triangle's a bullshit mystery. It began when a few fighter pilots were flying back to America after winning the WWII. They disappeared without a trace...not a single wreckage was found. Many ships also sunk in that area, that's how people became frightened whenever the Bermuda Triangle was mentioned.
Very much later, scientists found out that plane crashes are likely to happen anywhere else as long as the pilots feel tired or disoriented because they can't tell the difference between the sea and the sky. And ships sink can sink anywhere as long as the weather or sea condition is bad.
To prove that the Bermuda Triangle is a complete bullshit myth, scientists have travelled on planes and ships across Bermuda Triangle and they've returned unscathed!

It is because there have been a number of disappearances of ships and aircraft within the area.
Some of these have been explained, but others have not, hence the mystery.
If you can find them, there are two books by Charles Berlitz on this; his first, 'The Bermuda Triangle' was first published in 1974/5 (ISBN number 0586 042725), and the second, 'Without a trace', in 1978 (ISBN 0 586 045503)
I hope you can find them - they are worth reading, then you can judge for yourself!
Best wishes.
