You know on the outside it looks like a stupid question however,you have a keen eye for detail. As someone who lived around mexicans i can tell you this is true. I never thought about it but i can estimate that its because they dont have screens in their country,and because they can communicate better with the other tenants through the window.

They do not. Just because you see someone taking off the screens and they happen to be Mexican does not mean All Mexican do. Just grow up.

A lot of houses in Jamaica don't have screen either, I'm sure it has something to do with the heat and keeping a breeze moving through.
I think its kinda cool actually, No glass or screen to look through

I grew up in a Hispanic area of Los Angeles. Trust me, they had there screens onthe windows and doors. And they had bars on them, too. At least the ones who lived in the rougher areas.

That is so racist. How do you know they had screens anyway, not to make a joke? Maybe they are fortunate enough to having central air and don't need screens since their windows won't be opened.

They don't. I live in Phoenix (closest major city for a lot of people coming from Mexico) and they don't do that any more than white people or black peolpe or any other people. Stop being stupid.

not all Mexicans to that. the ones that do provably do it for ventilation. screens cut air circulation by 30%...

I haven't observed that. But I have noticed that Salvadorans tend to put decals/stickers on their cars in a symmetrical way.

Where do you live? I've never seen that!!! I've seen really poor people who didn't have screens but it had nothing to do w/race...
