-3 is the Station (distance of the presenting part from above or below the mid pelvis in "plus" or "minus" numbers) he is currently 3 cm above your pelvis.
there is something called "bloody show" in the early stages of labor but you should still call your doctor and let her know.

look at these websites.

you have to be 10 cm and 100 percent effaced before you can deliver baby. At this time, you could go into labor at any time. I went into the hospital when I was 1 cm dialated and 30 percent effaced and had my daughter 5 hours later. So it all depends on your body and whether your baby wants to come out now. If you are bleeding you need to call doctor asap. You sound like you might be going into labor soon.

I don't know. Are you having regular contractions? Is the bleeding bright red? What other symptoms might you be having?

-3 means the baby is getting ready and is head down to find it's way out!

Congrats and here's hoping you have a quick labor and delivery!

Take your butt to the hospital now! You should not be bleeding this late in your pregnancy. -3 station means the baby hasn't dropped yet. SO get to the hospital before something bad happens.

It sounds like you are having a baby really soon. Call the hospital to tell them you are bleeding. That is not normal.
