Um, if you mean in the sense of "undead or undying blood-sucker", then nope. But...
I have known *plenty* of people in my family, on both my mother's and father's sides who have had what can best be described as a "vampiric" psychology:
--A personality that can best be described as ruthless, predatory and bloodthirsty, and,
--A tendency to be both strong-willed enough and *crazy* enough that *weird* things happen around these people, be it by design or coincidence or some sort of butterfly effect....
These people aren't fun to be around...they have a habit of sucking the emotional energy out of the room when they're around, plants and small pets alike die under their care, and they are just plain creepy in terms of the "weird things happening" part.
And yeah, there might be something genetic to it, but I doubt it is at all healthy.
Just my plug nickel, take it as you will.

Though vampires are fascinating, they are figments of our imagination. Most of the books I read are about vampires tho. I love them. They bring a little something into your imagination when you are walking down an empty street at night. Read some Laurell K. Hamilton.
