how far along were you when you got a positive test result?
As i haven't had a period sence the begining of july but i have tender breasts, queasy, heartburn, slight headaches, get dizzy from time to time, tired more, go to the bathroom like every 5 seconds. but the hometest is neg. i am also having sharp pains in my lower abdomin and it hurts to have intercourse. please tell me what you think or if you went through the same thing

GO TO THE DOCTOR you shouldn't be having sharp pain in the abdomin or pain when you have sex. If you haven't had a period since the begining of July and you were pregnant it should definately have a positive result. This could be SERIOUS you can be pregnant and have a eptopic pregnancy (tubal) and you would test negative on a hpt.

I was 5 weeks when I tested. My period was a week late but I didn't want to test I was a bit nervous and maybe even in denial but I knew something was up because my breasts were very tender and I felt exhausted but other then that those were my only two symptoms until later on when I started getting morning sickness and stuff which was only a week later.
But yeah 5 weeks I tested and got a positive result. Went to the doctors that same day and got another postive pee test. Good luck.
Just go to a doctor they'll do a blood test and clear anything up.

I was 8 weeks along. I had 3 false negatives (I really thought I was expecting) before I finally got 2 positives on the same day. That was Friday, I was at the doctor on Monday and when the blood tests came back, I was 8 weeks.They said I just didn't have enough hormones yet to show on the home pregnancy tests.
I recommend you see your doctor ASAP.

Alright, you first need to be seen by a doctor. You may be pregnant in your tubes. And that is not good. You could have been pregnant with twins and miscarried one of them. And if that is the case, you need to get cleaned out by a doctor so the other baby will be okay. That is what happened to me. If you don't go soon, you could gt an infection, if you don't already have one, and that will be real bad.

You might very well be pregnant, but it should read on a home pregnancy test by now. I would recommend going and getting a blood test done. That will tell you for sure. Good luck to you!

You COULD be pregnant, but an abnormal pregnancy
OR you could have endometriosis, a very painful disease that can cause all the symptoms above also, especially the lower abdominal pain AND the intercourse pain.
whatever you do PLEASE GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!
If it is the first one, you could have a rupture of the fallopian tubes and it could be life threatening!!!

I was 6 weeks and I had just about the same symptoms as you....mine ended up being a ectopic pregnancy that had to be terminated. Go see your doctor ASAP!!

well i was just bout 3 weeks..but i took another test 7 days before as well and tht came out negative...
i have a family frnd who was 3 months pregnant and she din have her period and evrytime they tried the pregnancy test it said negative...but she finally decided to go to the doctor and the doctor said shes definetly 3 months pregnant...maybe thts the same with u...goodluck! :)

i was exactly 6 weeks along when I found out, but again check with your doctor about the ectopic pregnancy, especially if you have LEFT shoulder pain
