Because it's a playstation. If it was a REAL console, like the Wii or Xbox, men would be superior. No seriously, lisa r, the only reason you think what you think is that the guys you play with are either really bad, or letting you win. What is a footie game anyway?

When I hear the word 'footie' I assume you mean football. (If you are American: read soccer). And in general men are better at football games on games consoles than women, mainly because they tend to play it more, and so get more practice.
If you didn't mean football (as some people seem to suggest): phrase your question better.
