i know its bad for u, but ever since i was a kid i always thought the gas station smelled good

No... I despise it, but my fiancee loves it... I have to pull him away or he will stand there all day. I like the smell of candles that have just been blown out though. Is that odd?

It does smell good. Don't smell it for too long though. Long term exposure causes cancer in lab rats. (That's just what the pump says, I don't have lab rats.)
