When you have tried all the home remedies, crackers, ginger ale.... and you're still sick. Are you just nauseous or actually vomiting?
How far along are you?
I was sick the WHOLE 9 months. I was still vomiting the day my son was born. Just 2 weeks after he was born I weighed 24lbs less than I did when I got pregnant. That's how much weight I lost during my pregnancy. I was given prescriptions for phenergan at every doctor visit & took it constantly, but it didn't help. Thankfully I managed to avoid going in the hospital & being put on IV. I got SO much advice from everyone I know.
I learned that the one thing I could eat and keep down was ice cream. I'd try to make it healthy by adding nuts & fruit. I also drank 2 Boosts everyday.
If you are not able to keep food down you do need to talk to your doctor as soon as possible. Also drink some Gatorade if you are vomiting a lot so you won't get dehydrated.

If you are not holding anything down at all - you could start getting dehydrated. If it is true morning sickness and goes away later in the day so you can eat/drink then all the dr will tell you is to eat saltines and drink water b4 you get out of bed in the morning.
I girl I work with had some sort of condition where she would puke all day long for days on end and ended up in the hospital a few times during her pregnancy - ended up not working her entire pregnancy because of it.

when its so bad you just keep on vomiting when you can not keep any thing down this is not good for the baby either. There is a condition I am not sure what it is called but its all about really bad morning sickness that is like the worse morning sickness you can get. Good luck

Depends on your overall health status. Is it just in the morning? Are you able to cope? Are you staying well-hydrated? If the answers are yes, you probably don't need any drugs or anything. Keep soda crackers handy, because an empty stomach makes it worse. Keep drinking water, because staying well-hydrated makes it better. Good luck!!

When you vomit continuously (like all day), when it severly disrupts your daily life.
If you appear pale and weak and am finding it hard to eat or drink, you should see a doctor because you need to keep your fluids and energy up.
