don't be stupid, of course you are right

it is obvious in everything we see and do

how many male prostitutes are out there (serving women, not gay men, sure there are a few but there are hundreds of female prostitutes for every male one)

what about pornography? 99% is aimed at men

what about every poll that has ever been taken analyzing how often a person thinks of sex (men are way way way more interested in sex than women)

in fact, if a woman exhibits sexual interest similar to the average adolescant male, she is labeled a nymphomaniac (because it is unusual)

when I was young, about 35 years ago, no one would have imagined disputing the notion that men (in general and on average though not in every single case) have a much more powerful libido than women

our contemporary culture for some reason spreads the myth otherwise

enginerd said it best. think about it.
-who rapes?...men
-who are 98% of molesters? ...men
-why are they called peeping Toms and not peeping Anns?
-who talks to there buddies about having sex with animals?...men
-how many strip clubs are in America that cater to HER fantasies and desires compared to the other strip clubs?
-why isn't Merck and Pfizer spending millions of dollars to improve a womans sex life?

......oh, and let me clear this up right now.....men WANT sex ok, they do not NEED sex. Sex is not neseccary for servival and getting blue balls is his own fault for being a horn-dog. girls, do not fall for those two tricks. he's just being a selfish prick.

Compare two 18 yr olds - the male desires sex more.
Compare two 36 yr olds - the female desires sex more.

Unfortunately, we aren't at the same 'level' of drive at the same age. Other than that, I think we're equal.

That is, if the sex is Good.

It's the "whore syndrome". From a young age, girls are taught explicitly and implicitly that they should hide their sexuality and sexual feelings. That to come out and embrace your sexuality is be a "whore" (negative connotation), while when a guy does the same thing, he's a "stud" (positive connotation).

From my experience women think about sex, discuss sex, and desire sex just as much as men. They are just less overt about it.

Like they say, the only thing men think about is sex.

For the most part women don't need like men. Sure there are exceptions.....but I don't know any of them. Girls get together....ones that are close friends....we do talk about it.

Women. Just check out porn stars who can do 251 men at one go. Can you think of any man who can manage to do 251 women at once?
