My first dog, Kobe, died a while ago. We got a new dog and I decided I would give him a famous NBA name. You know, like the first name of a famous player that is unique enough to not spell out the whole name to know it. For example, I wouldn't name my dog "Michael" or "Jordan" because nobody would get it. Any good suggestions? So far I have LeBron, and that's it. And I'm not really sure if I should call him that.

I put this in basketball because, you know, people here would probably know a name or two.

I think calling him MJ sounds good. LeBron is ok, but it doesn't sound "dog" enough, if you will. MJ sounds short and simple plus it's the initials/nickname of the G.O.A.T. Hey, you could call him Goat for Greatest Of All Time. Then there is Glenn "Big Dawg" Robinson so you might want to call your dog Big Dawg. Duncan sounds good, too. It's a common name and it fits a dog. Flash sounds good for D-Wade. The list really goes on and on. Just think of a special unique name and see if it fits your dog.

Here's some good ideas:
MJ
G.O.A.T.
Big Dawg
Duncan
Flash
T-Mac
Big Ben
Big Shot Bob or some say Big Shot Rob
Dr. J
LBJ (better and shorter version of LeBron James)
Melo
Penny
Wilt
Kareem
Magic
Mr. Clutch
Hakeem
AI
Bad Boy
Showtime
Phenom
STAT (Amare Stoudamire)
Admiral
Yao
KG
White Chocolate
Zo
Glove
Witness
Coach K

How about "Hondo?" John Havlicek of the Boston Celtics was called that. Or "Clyde," that was Walt Frazier's Knickname...both of them came from movies the players liked. They are both old school and short enough to get a dog's attention.

you could substitute it. The canines will learn. some years in the past I accompanied a canines from the safeguard. It grew to become right into a male canines with the call Ruby. We replaced it to Robbie, which sounds comparable, and he found out his new greater masculine call suitable away. i be responsive to somebody whose golden retriever solutions to 2 names. It has a perfect call and a nickname and solutions to the two. i think of it is honestly a sturdy thought to grant it a sparkling call as area of its new life.

How about "Emeka" (Emeka Okafor ; Charlotte Bobcats #50).

How about "Kareem"
If it doesnb't have to be a players name: How about "Utah" (for the utah Jazz) - sounds like a nice name for your dog.

And of course, there the more obvious, "Shaq" |
