The Godfather, easily, it's not even close. That was an epic movie in the history of cinema. But it speaks to an older generation, so I wouldn't be surprised if many say Scarface. It's like trying to compare the Temptations to Boyz 2 Men.

The Godfather is probably one of the best American films ever made. It came out in 1972 and is still being watched today. The other two movies in the trilogy are also very good. Scarface is good, but it is more like the movies today with a lot of violence and very little story.

Scarface. I assume that you mean Scarface and not "scareface"as you typed. That would be a completely different movie. I would like to see it though.

I guess it would depend on your age when the movies came out. For the younger generation it will be Scarface and for some of the old heads it would be the godfather

They are completely different films. Scarface is a visceral tour de force. Godfather is a slow, reflective look at definition of family in the mafia. You really can't compare the two.
But if you're asking which one I like better, I'd have to say Godfather.

Scarface is the all time favorite movie.....then GodFather.....Al Pocino is great in both of those movies

You cannot beat scarface it is so much better than the godfather.
