Actually, we can make an amazingly accurate Calendar and day.

The PROBLEM IS: Businesses, Universities, Schools, and the World would fall all over themselves screaming about it. Look at the feedback over the definition over something simple like "planet" and redefining the Calendar would have a much more dramatic effect.

When it comes to the entire lock, stock, and barrel, the answer is 42, but nobody really knows what the question is. For more mundane stuff such as the length of the year, if you have the feeling nobody knows, either you're listening to the wrong people or you're not paying attention.

What the heck are you talking about dude? Are you saying nobody knows how long a year is? Get a grip and go read a science book. And quit with all the comma splices.

Is this in reference to your previous question about how we know how long a year is? Because you got several correct, accurate answers to that question. In fact, observing Earth's revolution around the Sun is one of the easiest things to do and one of the things astronomers know inside and out!
