As the water contains SO2, and is corrosive, it could cause ignition to certain metals, igniting them and thusly cause a blaze, which in turn could burn off other materials that would contribute to the levels of CO and perhaps dioxin, as well as additional SO2, which would perpetuate the conflagration, and in certain areas of hydrocarbon accumulations, the hydrocarbons would further combust causing a fire storm....buy the extinguished....CO2 would be the best.

Because you need it when a fire comes's out in your home.there wont be rain all the time when a fire comes out.
