I keep seeing all these answers with a petition link. WTF? Pluto is still there and probably will be for thousands of years to come. Who cares if they stop calling it a planet. They could call it " The Giant Crack Rock After Neptune" for all I care.

Since some scientists with nothing better to do have decided
that it is too small to be a planet, it should be called
a plan-ette.

it stupid to change it. Ive been taught all my life about 9 planets, and now i have to remember that there are only 8 now....which is dumb....and a waste of time abd money. Its all just a publicity stunt for the astronomers! Dont give in to them!

you're right ,they are calling moons planets now(we currently have twelve ) this is all I thought when I read the paper *oh shizits more planets to remember*

My very excellent mother just served us nine pizzas is not the same of she can't serve us pizzas. I don't think that serving us nuggets is very good.

'Planet' is still in the name, but now it's sub or dwarf planet instead.
