I spent a whopping $50.00 on my dress which is black and that i can wear again...makes sense to me

well rocker chick, i wore blue jeans shorts, an embroidered bugs bunny shirt, and birkenstocks. sure, i'd wear black.

I would personally wear white. but if you want to rock out in black at your own affair, then have at it! Why not?! People who aren't pure (virgins) wear white, so why not wear whatever color you like?! Like Martin Lawrence said most women know they should'nt be wearing white, they should wear their color:
Sneaky Salmon
Money Green
or Dark Black for obvious reasons! Just kidding! Work whatever color that you feel prettiest and most comfortable in! Good Luck, and remember that your wedding is just a day your marriage is the rest of your life! So don't stress too much!

I always thought I would black to my wedding, being the old school goth girl that I am... but when the time came, I did in fact wear white.

No I decided on the more traditional, although I saw beautiful dresses with black and red trim, which were beautiful and I considered. I think wedding dresses are a very personal thing and it only matters what you and your hubby want and not what others think.

I love black, I always dreamed of having this gothic style wedding with this victorian style black dress... Nothing against white ofcourse but I myself prefer black... not only that but you can wear it again if your into that sort of style, so I think your idea is awesome

That depends on alot of things. Who am I marrying? What colors is the wedding going to be? To make mommy mad, black, to make mommy proud, white.

Definitely not, but my granny's wedding dress was totally black (not because she tried to be original, or outrageous, or anything like that) but because that was the fashion when she married in 1940.
