If your teeth ache just a tiny bit, does that mean you have a cavity? Or could it mean that they are just dirty and need to be brushed?

No it doesn't mean you have cavity if your teeth aches. And it doesn't mean you are dirty and need to brush. But to make sure, if I were you I would stop eating sugary foods and brush your teeth much more often.

Your teeth shouldn't ache for more than a couple of days after getting fillings. You should go back to the dentist for x-rays - he or she could have nicked a nerve inside the tooth, in which case an infection will grow inside and cause a lot of pain and pressure. It happened to me.

Don't freak out - just tell your dentist and I doubt they'll even charge you to come back in for a check.

Teeth don't hurt for being dirty.
