Yep! Working at a measly salary doesn't cut it with me! Rent takes most of the Income!
I make more when not working if I'm on Social
Assistance.. not much more but more is more!
but it's not a good existence and I hate taking a handout. So to ease my conscience some I do some volunteering! I look at it this way if I get some money for nothing.. then I should do some work for someone for nothing and I do that at CMHA. I do feel poor! What makes you feel poor?

I used to feel that way, until I learned that material wealth and money really wasn't everything. I realize you are probably saying to yourself, "what the heck is he talking about?" In order to not feel 'poor,' you have to understand what you have and want what you already have. Poorness is about not having anything, it's about not having anything in the wholeness of everything in life, family, friends, love, care, faith, hope, and spirituality.

well on a monetary basis yes I do feel poor, but with family and friends I feel rich. I know it is corny but I have just lived through 2 unemployment episodes.

lol once in a while. But trust me, if your just out of college or something, you'll get through this rough patch and start bringing in money if you have a job. If you don't have a job, i would get one!

Donald Trump has all this casinos, hotels, golf course, and yet he says he's broke so he files bankruptcy, so they give him more money to expand his casinos.
