what john lenon wrote is not bullshit.if ppl tried even a little bit to follow what he wrote in that song the world would really be a better place.i dont understand how some ppl can say taht this is all bullshit...i guess they r just so selfish that if they lose their liltle posesions something will happen...materials are nothing.is the peace in the soul that counds.and in orderto have that u need to have peace in the world!

Come on, people. It's just a song. The lyrics in that song were the thoughts and opinions of John Lenon, nothing more. However, the main idea of the song is about peace, and everyone getting along. Is that such a bad thing? Think about the chorus: "Imagine all the people sharing all the world. You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one."

When you think about the question you just asked, "should we follow", it comes to mind that there are two kinds of people, leaders and followers. I for one don't follow anyone, I make up my own mind and strike my own path. Lennon articulated a vision that in the real world doesn't square with human nature. Bullshit might be too strong a word. I like naive.

It sounds nice, but if you listen to the words carefully, you can see that it's about communism.
