I think the only thing less interesting than playing a sport is watching a televised sports program...what a total yawn.

I want to see if anyone is with me on this, or if there is something terribly wrong with me that I can't stay awake through any sports game on TV, and would die of boredom playing one.

I'm nodding off just thinking about it.

N.S. can't seem to read; the LAST place you'll find me is on the sofa, mouth-breathing at something or other.

AHHHH!!!! Who the hell wants to watch a bunch of grown men put a ball through a hoop, or run with a football under his arm!!!
What the hell is that?
Can you believe the idiots that pay $50 to stand in a 2x2 area of concrete to watch a hockey game...(I only went because a business partner invited me to their box with food, and couches)

How about getting stuck in traffic due to a sporting event, or when your favorite program gets pre-empted so they can show some damn sports event?

But hey they provide all those great jobs serving beer and hot dogs, for $9 each...

I make myself watch baseball games with the hubby otherwise, I'd never see him. I read while he watches the game, at least we're on the couch together at the same time.
I used to watch basketball years and years ago when they wore those little tight shorts, but when they went to the bigger baggy ones, I stopped.
Watch the football games once in awhile to watch the guys bend over the ball and that's about it.
Other wise, I can do without all the sports stuff.

I can't stand to watch sports. The only time I like them is if I'm playing a sport that I like.

I abhor pretty much every sport--it values phsyical qualities over intellectiual qualities.

I also dislike sports because of the hype surrounding them. Any person who lives in or near Pittsburgh and dislikes football knows what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't mind playing. That is actually doing something, but to watch it would be like watching someone eat a sandwhich or iron clothes.

yeah, you're prbly better at watching tv and stuffing yourself with junk food till you can't pick your fat a** of the couch any more. "victory" is stuck to the couch again. good riddance.
