You don't need much to start with. I would begin with mascara, blush and lip gloss. Make sure you are wearing brown/black mascara then people will think your eyelashes are just normally lush ,long and beautiful without looking fake. You can curl you lashes or not. Try it both ways to see what you like the best. If I'm not going out much that day, I don't curl my eyelashes.

For blush & lip gloss here is how you find out what color you need. It sounds kinda silly but it is a tried & true method. Pull down your lower lip and look for the color that just past your natural lip. It will be the perfect color for what you need to pick out for blush & lip gloss color. I know its looks dumb in the store but you can play secret agent & do it the mirror when holding up a product when NO ONE IS LOOKING!
you heard it here first folks!

Instead of brushing on mascara I just touch the mascara wand to my eye lashes starting from bottom & going to the top. Its more like pressing the wand into my eyelashes. Give it a try.

I like lipglosses with brushes and pads at the end they seem to stay on longer.

Use blush across the largest part of your cheeks -called the apple - they are what sticks out when you smile really big! Smiling is really a good thing for looking pretty. A happy ,kind, caring heart is true reflection of being loving & that that will do you wonders for being beautiful - far beyond what makeup can do.

listen grl im 13 so let me tell you what will go with blonde hair and blue eyes for eye shadow use a dark blue so it could blend in with you complextion and for lipstick you should put on a light red and when you put on make up for your cheeck dont use the pads that they give you use some paper towel cause it works THE BEST and put it on before you go to dinner so you could really show your parents why they got it for you!

Go to the mall with your mom and ask them to do a makeover to show you how. Or try to get a beauty consultant to help you. Do you know anyone that uses MaryKaye, Avon, or Beauticontrol. If all else fails go to the MaryKaye homepage. I think you can just enter Marykaye.com. They have a great virtual makeup program. It will show you how.

E-mail me through my web page and I'll answer any questions you have and give you tips as well. Don't have time to go into it here. I have to finish mowing the grass.

Dark colors are good, dont wear pastels, it'll make you look washed out.

Eye - brown eyeliner, darkish eyeshadow, and dark brown mascara.
Apply the eyeliner (thin line) directly above your lashes, leave no space in between. Apply the eyeshadow above the eyeliner up to the crease. I think you know how to apply mascara....

Cheeks - dusty pink blush or bronzer
Apply either the blush or bronzer (only ONE of them) right below your cheekbones.

Lips - lipgloss, put it on from the tube!

You should start with lighter colors. I would do a Dark brown liner then a cream shadow all over and maybe a pink or mauve in the crease...go with a brown mascara and for now skip the blush. Do a ccol ( pink, sheer mauve ) lip gloss or sheer stick.

Start with a clean face.

Apply lightly for a natural look. If you look like you're wearing makeup, you have too much on.

Use tools. Get in the habit at the beginning...brushes and sponges are invaluable.

Use a good makeup remover.

Remember, even though you are twelve, you still need a good moisturizer and sunscreen - even in winter!

Good luck!

your twelve? and you don`t know how to put make up on? lol. sorry that`s one of the funniest things i`ve ever heard.

go to like someplace where they can get you a free make over. and ask them what would be good for you. purple eye shadow goes good with brown eyes. never wear black eyeliner. always brown. you don`t want people thinking you`re going goth? no. yeah that`s what i though too! so i always wear brown. if you wear black..it`s good to smudge it. if you have blue eyes..then it`s good to experiment..but don`t leave the house before you ask someone what they tink. and make sure they tell the truth. have fun!
