A gu is a form of violin, if I remember rightly. Typically inanimate objects do not feel or express affection.

Well, if you want him to like you, or at least you want to get to know him so you can figure out if he is even worth liking...:
Go up to him and introduce yourself...tell him that you think he's cute...now you want to see if he's neat "inside" too.
If he says "OK," then ask him if the two of you can eat lunch together or talk online.
Once you are alone with him, ask him questions about himself.
You can write the questions down that you think you'd like to hear him answer.
(Then, just memorize the questions and ask away when you see him)
Listen carefully tho..IF you ask him questions and he doesn't ask you questions back..then he is probably NOT interested in you.

a guy likes you when everytime you're not looking at him he's lookin at you and when you look at him he smiles at you.. *wink* and after that he'll try to get to know you, ask you out and practically hang-out with you and when he feels that the feeling is mutual then he'll proceed to another level of relationship..
