Watering "outside" plants with warm hose water does not affect your plants because they can regulate themselves according to what the temperature is outside. However, indoor plants are tropical for the most part and do better with room temperature or tepid water.

Drain the hose that has kept the warm or hot water in it and then be on your merry way and water your plants outside but when you water the inside plants I always have a plastic clean milk carton that I put in water to water my inside plants. In doing that all the sediments from the tap water fall to the bottom of the clean plastic container. I water my inside plants about every 10 days. I use my finger to check the soil before doing so as I don`t want to over water my plants. If you have a water softner get your water supply from the outside hose. I heard that water softners could be bad for inside plants....Good Luck!!!

You shouldn't use really cold or really hot water to water plants as this can cause them to go into shock. Using water that is heated up by the sun in the hose should be fine (we have never had a problem).

If in your location water availability isn´t and issue and you can afford to leave the warm water flow until cooler water comes out, if don´t plants can compensate water Tº within a range. Since your problem is warm water don´t worry to much, the ground should cool water a little bit, and water Tº won´t kill the plant it could stress it a little only and growth will be slower.....water stress is worst than water Tº stress!.

Well'' the thing you have to remember about watering plants,is that you should'nt water the leaves or blooms. Cold or warm water, you need to direct the water flow to the bottom of the plant. This way,the root system gets it's nutrients, and the leaves stay dry. Regardless of water temperature.

Plants grow well in different parts of the world because the climatic conditions are suitable to them. Some can do well anywhere.
However, rain, the natural means that plants get their water from, varies in temperature according to the location and season.
It is important to treat local vegetation the same as nature would in your area (offcourse there are extreme conditions at times). If you keep tropical plants, treat them according to their needs and requirements, as if their where in their natural environment. Personally, I wouldn’t give my tropical plants freezing cold water; I would rather have it at room temperature especially in winter time. Said that, I don’t offer them a hot cup of tea neither. Treat your plants with common sense and according to their needs.

I have noticed the plant does not do well when using cold water. I let my water reach the same temp. that the plant is in.

it fairly is what you could desire to do - get a warmth mat and put in below the tank on the cool section (below - no longer interior the tank!). you will additionally purchase a thermostat, which you could purchase fairly inexpensively from walmart of someplace comparable. Set the thermostat to around ninety ranges and this might desire to offer him a magnificent, risk-free spot to sleep at nighttime and there is not any risk of him getting burned while you're utilising s thermostat. all the final of luck!
