I was required to take an IQ test at work back in college days. As of 11-8-98, My IQ was 135. (Top ~1% of general population). But let me tell you why standardized I.Q. Test may be bias… and how it may not truly reflect your “intelligence”.

I scored a total score of 135:
86% Accuracy on Numerical Reasoning.
36% Accuracy on Verbal Reasoning.
100% Accuracy on Spatial Reasoning.
100% Accuracy on General Knowledge.

Yeah... my Verbal score is horrible. English is my third language.
36% in my verbal was still good enough to get me into MENSA though. =p (MENSA = overrated).

I know there many people that have much lower I.Q. than myself but are geniuses in their field. For people that are artistically inclined for example, or someone that has masterful social skills, or someone with superb short-term memory etc., this so called “standardized” test is not an adequate measurement of their “intelligence”.

If you never tried, try EQ tests. You may find it interesting. =)

I went to a place to take an iq test one time and the person who administered the test was a psycologist and he said mine is one of the above average iq's and he said it was somewhere in the lower hundreds. The fun part of the test was being asked to repeat sets of numbers he gave forward and backwards starting with only a few and then adding larger amounts of numbers to repeat. I was able to remember and repeat correctly every set up to the 14th set of 14 and then he just stopped because that was all there were. I felt smarter after that and in my opinion sometimes feeling smart is all a person needs to adequetley apply theirselves to learning at their fullest potential.
